Your a peasant, not a citizen. What kind of proverbial truth would it take to get you to realize the government is controlled buy an absolute oligarchy? The US media alone bestow their wisdom into the brains of our electoral college that decides who is president. Voting for president is a waste of time unless we get rid of the the electoral college like Bill Ayers suggest in his article, One Person/ One Vote…no exceptions. It's time to ditch the two party Partisan Politics that the electoral college is designed around for a National Popular Vote. One person. One Vote. Most people in America don't even know that the electoral college exist. And when most people talk about the electoral college, they talk of conspiracy, and usually don't know the full details of how the system of voting actually works. Mass media fails to mention or explain to the mass public that they are not actually voting for the president when they vote and they actually feed on the zombies belief that they are voting for the president. When in reality they are not. With the current voting system, you are actually voting for an elected official or representative to give their electoral vote in your favor, each state is assigned a certain amount of electoral voters depending on how many people live in each state. These electoral voters are elected representatives that you vote for. Your vote basically means nothing because the elected official does not have to vote for the person who won with total votes from voters, they can choose whoever they like and give their electoral vote for them. These are real people that you can reach out and say, 'Hey what the fuck are you doing to this country.' Electoral voters are assigned by or represent all the major partisan political parties. And even if the majority of the voters say they want Al Gore to be president your electoral college can decide to give the job to George W. Bush, which they did. And that's how Bush stole his election with the help of his brother Jeb Bush who might be running for president in 2012...
