Corn can only produce 18 gallons of biofuel per-acre per-year. Palm is better and produces, 700 - 800 gallons per-acre per-year. While Algae, can produce a whopping 18,000+ gallons of biofuel per-acre per-year. And biofuel can be modified, so that you have biodiesel for the trucking and shipping industry and jet fuel for air transportation, by selective algae that can produce the right type of vegetable oil needed.
